2/21/26 Internal Fire

Last week the explanation of Biblical fire began. There are different kinds of fire in the Bible & the second of which we seem to be more familiar with, just not from a biblical perspective.

1 Corinthians 7:8-9  Now to the unmarried^[a] and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. ⁹ But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Burning is inflamed w/ passion, burning w/ what the church calls carnality when it comes to wanting relations with another person that are intimate. The Bible calls it lust in other scriptures, but here the context of a relationship between man and woman who are wanting to engage in intimacy. Burning from within for the opposite sex is a natural occurrence but there are obviously boundaries on how to deal with this.

Our Creator, God Almighty put it within us to desire to love & be loved, To experience intimacy & engage intimacy with one another. This is for the purpose of procreation, which is why depopulation & the moves by government entities to make it harder to achieve pregnancy with food, soil, water & air additives is anti-biblical. There is a reason why men in their 20’s have problems and need pharmaceuticals in order to be intimate as well as why birth control is being handed out for free. When you understand who pulls the strings in the spiritual world that according to Ephesians 6:10 that affects our societies globally you see this is a spiritual issue.

The move of the kingdom of darkness is to take something God made & use it for outside its designated purpose. Being oversexed in the American culture has been a tool from the hippie mindset to current the idea love is free & should be engaged in whatever form sought this is what eventually gave the push to the rainbow mafia aka the alphabet people. Ephesians 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Let’s focus in fiery darts because they too are tied to fire, right? The verse here is how to be defensive against the darts, which are emblazoned which means their intent is not only to pierce but to pierce & set afire the intended target. The defense is the helmet, which is a covering & this covering is representative of the blood of Christ in a proper mindset to lead you through the day to day, moment by moment, situation by situation. This is aided by Holy Spirit within you to enforce what the Word of God teaches that intimacy has boundaries to guide you for safety purposes. That is why boundaries exist, such as keeping intimacy within the confines of a marriage.

This is why the covering is so important. It is made to operate within the boundaries of the Bible & reenforced by the 3^rd member of the Trinity from within. Yet, following the boundaries is a choice. It is called free-will. Further, we are not safe when uncovered, as in our helmet is off. The archer is the enemy looking to ignite us from within with burning passion. Notice the target is the head. This is where we make the choice to follow the guidelines or not. There is no the devil made me do it. We can get the burning within, but in the end the choice to follow the structures for our own safety is our choice.

The tactics of the enemy uses the chemical make up within us to fuel temptations to ignite us from within. Pleasure is a huge draw, especially when it is something that is provoked from internal natural means. This is the fuel by which the igniter from the enemy touches that spreads from within. This is not a mistake and it is a strategy used by a devouring lion to lure us to be his prey. Too many times we get stuck on a feeling. Too many times we seek the rush of the thrill of the chemical out pouring in our very beings.

Dopamine is the main pleasure chemical that starts in the brain, which is why the helmet is so important. It is added by Serotonin a feel good hormone produced in the gut. For those tied to an addiction, especially a sexual one these are the combustible fluids within you that are used against you, & walking away from the lure is so very difficult from. Breaking this as a habitual mindset is extremely difficult unless it is directed from its proper usage which is what Paul recommended in our base first. Get married. Do it right. But it also a long term strategy against the people of God especially. Known as the Wearing down of the saints. This is one of the many ways the enemy does so.

The helmet when removed means that we no longer are recognizing the covering God gave us, no longer operating intellectually to the knowledge of the word of God, & no longer operating spiritually in coordination with Holy Spirit to operate in authority to renounce what is looking to inflame us from within with passions. But we have to be honest about passions. Passion is not the problem, the what for the passion is.

Intimacy is meant to inflame us for the purposes of God, to show love in a selfless act of giving of oneself to share in a covenant built on trust. Too many times in too many relationships the fire even in the proper context is used for selfish gain & can destroy the balance of a marriage because it is not mean to be selfish. But when you have the helmet of salvation on, you realize you are a child of God, operating under biblical structures, then the burning, the fire is righteous!

Do not be misled God put the fire within you but it is your choice to control it & see to it that does not consume you.
